Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn peers down the trapdoor, taking note to ignore Am. She had learned from experience not to listen to him when he was whistling. It usually meant he was trying to garner attention.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
((Screw not being at more the one place at a time, this place needs CONFLICT! XD))
A short chill creeps through the cafe, making everything cold for a moment, and sending chills down the occupant's spines. Am frowns and fades away, and a familliar voice echos through Ayn's conscious. "So, you managed to recover. How...unfortunate." |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Her spine did not escape the chills either, and as soon as the voice reached her mind her eyes burned with hatred. She turns around to face him, sword in hand. She sort of laughs. "You look pathetic. Did you get hit by a train on the way here?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Gale scoffs at Ayn's comment as he steps forward. Somehow he seems darker, and calmer then he had been in the past. "Your bark is pitiful, but your bite is no better. In fact, the only reason you're alive is because of my brother's mercy. Which won't be something that will save you again." Gale grinned from ear to ear, the extent of which his sanity had fallen conspicuosly visible.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Had this been even a few years before, Ayn would most likely have shrugged off the comment and ignored Gale, but now that she peers into his dark eyes she senses a sort of bitterness that he hadn't had before, even with the long-lasting hatred between them. Whatever it was that was bothering him, she wasn't going to let him live long enough to even express it. "Mercy is hard to come by these days. You certainly won't be finding any once I'm finished with you." Her sword glows a light purple.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"It is too soon for you to die, so there's no need for you to get anxious and raise your sword against me. Go somewhere and cry out all the angst that you're obviously harboring for some reason or another. I'll kill you at a more appropriate time."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She arches an eyebrow, slightly taken aback at Gale's unwillingness to fight. "If that is so, then what brings you here?"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Gale lets out a chuckle. "To express myself. Gale picks up a nearby bottle of alchohal and throws it at a walk. He flicks his fingers at it and a spark flies into it, creating a fire that begins to consume the cafe. Gale let's out a loud laugh.[/i] "Time this place burned down!"
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*Walks in* Oh yeah, I remember this place. Good times here. Ahhhh, nostalgia...*Sees the place burning down*
....Well, ****! |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
"What the hell?" This was a bit out of character, even for him. There must be something must more pressing that's causing him to act sporadically. "Did you forget to put your brain in this morning, you dumbass?" Water spouts from her palm at the flames.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The hilt of Sin smashes into the back of Ayn's head. "So perdictable."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn falls to her knees, clutching the back of her head. Blood spills from her nose and mouth, but she manages to remain conscience. Her sword, lying a few feet away, begins to glow a bright white.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Gale kicks the sword across the cafe, and starts a fire near it. "I guess that psychologist was wrong, violence DOES ease pain!" Gale kicks Ayn in the face, laughing like a child.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She fights desperately to maintain consciousness, and with an incredible amount of strength and effort she swoops to a standing position, grabbing Gale by the throat with both hands. Ignoring the swirling clouds in her eyes, she conjures up as much holy energy as she can, pulsating it through her fingertips and into Gale's body.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Gale let's out a scream of pain and Sin slowly morphs into a gun and levels with Ayn's arm. Gale fires as best he can in his condition, remembering it is to early to kill his enemy.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She ignores the sound of her elbow shattering and blood soaking her shirt, instead she focuses her energy on the holy energy. Maybe he wasn't inclined to kill her at this time, but she was more than willing to end his life.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Gale's left hand balls into a best in and he drives it into Ayn's stomach with all of his strength. He was growing desperate, and if he could disable Ayn he could at least keep her alive at the point, where as if she could fight he could be killed, even if he doubted it.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Her grip loosens around Gale's throat and she stumbles backwards from the blow of the punch. Her world was swirling at a violent rate, she can't stay upwards much longer.. She'll have to make the best of her time. With her good arm she punches Gale in the face with holy energy seeping from her knuckles.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Gale staggers backward a few steps and coughs up some blood but fails to fall. He tries to hit Ayn with Sin again, but remembers not to hit hard enough to kill.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She sidesteps, not knowing how she mustered up the energy to do so.. She charges again with another fist full of holy energy.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Gale nearly collapses, now very pissed off. He holds out his hand and a pool of light incases Ayn, forming a bubble.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
A wave of anger fills her eyes as she's always hated this cheap trick. Her good hand begins to glow a light blue as she prepares to freeze the bubble.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The bubble seems to mutated and "grabs" Ayn's wrists. "It's unfortunate you have found a way to escape the bubble. But I can modify it enough until I make it affective again."
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn tries to wrestle her wrist free, but fails to do so. Blackness surrounds her eyes, and she slumps backwards slightly, her eyes closed. A few seconds later they open again, forcing herself to keep awake.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Hah, I love watching these silly people... they make me feel so adventurous. Maybe I'll get gutsy and travel over to the bar for a few martinis...
Barkeep, one vodka martini. Shaken, not... wait a sec, just let me back there and I won't hurt you. Ahh, much better! Raspberry smoothie, now that's a drink that just screams Kupo. Which in turn sounds like an excellent proposal. KiiiiiiiiuuUUUuu-Po! |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Tor yawns and, with out actaully appearing to move, ends up ducked behind the counter.
He's not fought Gale before, and has no intention of doing so. He's a drin~ uh.. adventurer, not a fighter. |
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Gale lets out a chuckle. "What's this? Desperately clinging to consciousness. How amusing, yet futile. I don't doubt you'll escape, eventually. Though I'm curious as to what you'll do then." The smoke coming from the flamming cafe was growing thicker, making breathing more difficult, but the Abbis seems unphased. "Fight me, try to put out the fire, or do the logical thing and run, it's like watching a mouse run threw a maze." Gale turns away and makes his way to the entrance. He may have a higher tolerance to flame and smoke then humans, but he wasn't immune to such things. He wanted to be near an exit so he could leave if he needed to.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Ayn takes a few moments to clear her thoughts, then quietly slips into the darkness that she had spent so long to stay away from. Gale was taking a lot more effort than necessary to keep her alive, if he hadn't killed her now then he probably wouldn't let the flames consume her.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
The bubble breaks once Ayn's consciousness slips and Gale frowns. He didn't expect for her to give up. .....The bitch was pretty damn clever. Gale runs his fingers through his hair, considering his position. He looks up and raises his hand, a blade of energy appearing close to the ceilling of the burning cafe. He throws his hand downward, and the blade stabs into Ayn's side before disappearing. "That should wake her up," Gale thought with a smirk on his face.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
She groans slightly, trying to force herself into a sitting position but cries out from the sword in her side. She grabs the hilt and pulls it out as fast as she can, biting her lip. Her eyes wander to the growing wall of flames, and she lifts a hand to try to put them out. She realizes that if she tried to do so, it might end her life.. She has barely enough energy to keep awake, after all. She grabs the armrest on a nearby couch and forces herself up.. A few minutes later she's gone, having limped slowly out the door.
|
Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
Gale's smirk turned to a sneer. He was back where he was before. With noticable dismay, he waves his hand, and the bubble around Ayn re-appears, protecing her from the fire and smoke. "Hmph. You have the devil's luck." Gale pulls a cell phone out of his pocket and begins to leave the cafe.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
*Admires* Y'know, one person doesn't count as a small group. But hey, the important is that some people recognize the genius in your humming, singing and dancing. And you can't expect those two stiff groaners and smirkers to recognize it, hell no, I tell ya.:)

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V
About a mile from her cabin her knees give way and she collapses in the woods, unmoving.
